NBA penalizes Clippers with five draft picks and $30m fine for Leonard salary cap violations

The Los Angeles Clippers face one of the league's most severe penalties after the NBA determined the franchise circumvented salary cap rules to sign Kawhi Leonard. Five first-round selections between 2029 and 2033 have been forfeited, along with a $30 million fine. Owner Steve Ballmer received a one-year suspension from all league and team activities.
