Nepal plans early-warning system rebuild at China border following glacial disaster

Following a glacial flood that claimed over 1,000 lives across both nations, Nepal intends to establish seismic sensors, cameras and satellite connectivity at Timure in Rasuwa district along its frontier with China. The calamity destroyed the existing monitoring infrastructure, including at least four measurement stations positioned near the frontier.
